Hello
I recently (months ago) replaced the silicone around my bath only the find it splitting where the bath is sinking when in use (water and myself). Previous silicone lasted a few years before giving up.
I’ll get some pics up, but wondered what the best silicone to use?
Also there is a gap between the bath and wall board. Should I pack this out with silicone?
Cheers

Make sure (if possible) the bath feet are tight. Then fill the bath with water to weigh it down, redo the silicone and leave water in over night/24 hours.

Stick some wood up under where you can off the floor.
Wedge at the floor to raise up tight under bath at the back edge..
Can stick to wall with CT1 or stixall. That will stop bath moving.

Geocel is a good silicone brand. I was talking to a fitter today that won't use any other if you want a recommendation

Ah I understand now. Just some wood going from floor to underside of bath to stop it flexing when in use?

Yes. Need long arms. Just stick to wall but pack out the bottom of wood against floor. Bath won't flex

Never had that problem with photos here so I guess you have a good camera.
Screenshot photo and upload photo as that will be a small file. Old trick that

Good idea
