Slabs with random chamfers

The chamfers on my slabs have random chamfers. If i joint to the same depth, the joint width will vary. If i joint to the same width, the depth will vary. What's the best thing to do here?

I would suggest the best thing to do is to not be so meticulous.
When it's all finished and weathered, I very much doubt if any differences will be discernible.

Are you using a contrasting jointing material?

Thanks for the reply. I was thinking of using black, but thinking of using plain mortar now to tone down the gap.
