In all the years I have been on this forum I have yet to see anyone change their stance on any issue, therefore an incitement to racial hatred is nothing more than a clarion call for the already converted.

I take your point, and I think you could be right about that, but I happen to think that Slogger was offensive in such a way as to forfeit the right to membership of this particular site.

Substitute any racist statement that contains the word black for ginger and see what nonsense the race card really is.

I take that point too, but racism is a descriminatory attitude, not just a bunch of words.

How is it that governments get away with racism?

If I'm a Samali man and ask the UK government if I can live here they will say "No, you are the wrong race - we don't want you".

If that Somali then goes to Holland as is naturalised and comes back as a Dutch citizen and I say "Go away, you are a Somali, you are the wrong race" - I'd be deemed a racist.

well for what my opinion is worth,i hate racists with a passion.
i think they are stupid,shortsighted,ignorant,cruel,unkind and they ruin peoples lives
and i think if they took the time to understand other cultures they would realise that we are not so different really.

So you are suggesting that the UK opens its borders to all and sundry from wherever in the World? If not - why are certain races refused admission? Because they are the 'wrong race'?

there not issues for me really because i like immigrants and i dont care how many are over here tbh.

theres just as many lazy english as lazy immigrants,far more of them just want to get on in life than most would have you believe.

correct me if im wrong,but im not even sure they are causing a housing shortage.i always thought the lions share of social housing went to one parent families?

all the eastern euros i know(and thats a big number)dont bring their families,they leave them at home and periodically return home to see them.
they just want to want to make a few quid to take back to wherever it is they came from.
