Small Caravan

Thanks a lot for everybodys help and advice.

Would t&e be vulnerable to damage though if enclosed in trunking and/or clipped provided it is not placed anywhere subject to damage?

As regards to load I feel it would be easier to just use the 16A inlet connector as apart from the small heater and a tv the cooking will be by gas and so is some of the lighting, and there is also 12 volt battery operated lighting on a seperate system as well. This I will frequently use as to keep the cost of electricity down.
Boiling water and making toast etc will be done on the cooker.

not as long as the caravan doesn't move but considering the small extra cost of using flex for such short runs i don't see the point in bodging it.

Could the 2 spotlights (the only mains powered lamps) be run off a 3A fused FCU and wired in two core flex which I already have at hand since it has a double insulated symbol on them. If so will one final circuit in the caravan be OK?

I am suggesting an FCU since there will be more cable run for a seperate circuit in the consumer unit due to the location of the spotlamps.

Whoever did the last wiring run the 1.5mm lighting cable from a joint box directly out of the socket circuit cable!

I have decided to use 1.5mm flex as plugwash suggested, as I prefer to do jobs properly.
