Smart Lock UPVC

Hey! Recently bought static caravan as holiday home. Looking at swapping the front door locks for smart lock. I was thinking of getting the smart lock which just simple attachments to the thumb lock however I've realised I need to push the door handle up to lock the door. Any suggestions around this?.

Hey sorry yea of course.

It's a UPVC door with single glass in the door. When I push the door handle up the 2 pins bottom and top push up and down into place which then means I can lock the door. (Sorry DIY is not my thing)

Which smart lock? I fitted a Yale smart lock for a mate. He still had to push the handle up but the mechanised internals locked the door. The handle outside could not be pressed down from the outside without the RFID tag or the bluetooth app.

I was thinking th switch bot (see below)

But from my understanding certain functions I could not use example auto lock due to having to push the door handle up before locking.

Looking at swapping the front door locks for smart lock.

What are the benefits you seek?

The benefits that I require the auto locking. So for example after enter the caravan the lock would auto lock after 10 mins example, the idea of easily entering the property either with code or phone app. Hope this helps.
