Except that it is you doing that not me. As I said (and you ignored), originally you could just have said that you thought Simon meant utility bill and left it at that, or you could have made that point and then asked if there was a reason that I interpreted 'bill' in that way.
Rather you dragged in my nationality and have kept on about the near-impossibility of anyone British ever thinking bill might be used that way when I have already explained that I had just thought it was a possibility and you yourself have said that bill is used in that fashion by some people.
And here is the other issue that I have had in the few times I have discussed anything with you. Namely that you start talking about something else as if you have not changed the subject.
I quoted you as saying "The flag and your current location tell us nothing about your origins.", then I say "John, you come across as a smart man who, at times, does not actually bother to think before writing. ..." and you respond by talking about utility bills and what you wrote in an earlier post, and not about what not in the post I was quoting from.
I don't care if you respond, I will simply ignore it. Discussing anything with you is, for the reasons I have outlined, so frustrating that I have refrained from responding to posts you made on a few occasions and I will simply not reply to anything you post in future.
BTW, I have noticed a few threads drag on for a long time when you and someone else have spent ages to-ing and fro-ing when it seems (to me) that the length has been caused by you saying things (like here) that are not true and not what you actually meant or are responses not to the point at hand but something else.
Hence it seems likely that the problem in communicating clearly was not between you and me but is between you and other people.
