and do you inform customers about the low battery indication and how to change the batteries?

Virtually all the properties we fit mains smoke alarms in are unnoccupied, being either un-tennanted rental properties, or new build houses.

We leave a set of instructions in the property, detailing battery replacement, and how to knock the detector off the ceiling with a broom if it wont stop beeping
