Snail Patrol tonight... I caught this bunch. 4 slugs.

I think I'm fighting a losing battle.

I remember seeing Gordon Ramsey cooking snails from his garden. Although I like snails and have had them many, many times, I’ve not been brave enough to try it myself.

I had this whole lot to myself once at a roadside greasy spoon on a motorbike trip through France. I think there was one dodgy one amongst them though as they cut a road straight through me very quickly. A bit awkward getting on the toilet when you’re in motorcycling gear!!

I like welks, so would imagine I could. Not sure I could be bothered to set up a Snail farm.

Left out some Amaretto for the snail party last night. Only one snail this morning on the Raddish patch..... Looking hung over as he slips off.

Thing was, that bowl was filled to the brim last night....

I caught about 60 last night. By the look of that bowl I'll have to be on Patrol every night.

I will look into creating a little farm. I like the idea. I love food and love garlic. Why not

Plenty of wild garlic growing by the riversides at this time of the year.

A typical L'escargot starter in France would be either 6 or 12 snails. I always ask for 12 as six is just teasing.
