mitch thinks that only professionals travel.
No doubt you can point me to where I said that?

It may well not happen anyway. If it does, you'll be alright, high flying around the world in your top job. FWIW I didn't give a fook when I voted, still don't ...
It was a glib response, just like yours. It was a lie.
It was a glib response, just like yours.
Or are you claiming that your glib responses are glib responses, but my glib responses are lies?
I used to try to engage intelligently with you, as an adult, but as you repeatedly, persistently and intentionally misrepresented my comments, demonstrated that your responses were immature and juvenile, I gave up and resorted to mimicking your behaviour.Oh yes, I can see you only engage in intelligent adult conversations.
You seem to be under the impression that a traveller rarely needs the assistance of an embassy. I suggest that you peruse this website:How are all those EU embassies working for you?

No, I must admit.....there is no British embassy in Narnia. Try the other side of the wardrobeAnd on another occasion, there was no suitable embassy available in the country,

As they say, passports do get lost or stolen (or simply expire), crime, accidents, sickness and other emergencies do happen while you are abroad.
I have had several reasons to contact embassies in other countries, in the one instance, the nearest UK embassy was considerably further away ( I am talking 1000s of miles) than the nearest alternative EU embassy, in another country. A possible workable solution (which turned out satisfactory) was achieved via a more local 'non-UK embassy' office, after telephone discussions and suitable arrangements agreed with the distant UK embassy. It was a problem exacerbated by the distance to the UK embassy.
On another occasion I was able to find one possible workable solution via the telephone. If that solution had been deemed unacceptable, for any reason, it would have required considerable travel.
And on another occasion, there was no suitable embassy available in the country, in which I originally needed the contact. It was not that urgent, so I waited until I was further along in my travels, and in another country, and there was a suitable embassy available.
Damn! Damn! I have reverted to responding to your trolling with intelligent responses.
I must try to remember with whom I am engaging next time. And respond to your trolling with suitable similar trolling responses.
I have no idea, neither do you.............until we need an embassy and realise that there is not one available. And the situation is not fixed. The global instability is fluid and one can never predict when, which or why embassies open and close. How many countries have an EU embassy but do not have a British Embassy?

To ask Her Majesty’s Government how many (1) UK embassies, and (2) UK consular offices, have been closed since 6 May 2010, and where those closures took place.
Operations were suspended in Tehran, Damascus, Tripoli and Sana’a for security reasons.

I see the trolls have no sensible contribution to make so they have reverted to doing what they do best: trolling.blimey r bee . so why have you had to contact all these embassies , what u been up to
So your argument therefore falls apart.I have no idea, neither do you.........
I see you have reverted to your usual silliness. So your argument therefore falls apart.
The list of previously closed embassies was a reinforcement of my comment that embassies close for reasons of global instability, which are unpredictable, as to when, why or where they occur.I have no idea, neither do you.............until we need an embassy and realise that there is not one available. Read my response, that you have previously decided to ignore:

That list was provided as a response to a question that was asked in 2016!
