Hi All
I currently have a vertical soil stack vent which protrudes approx 18 inches through my roof tiles.
Is there a suitable vent tile I can replace it with as I am considering solar panels.
Cheers

I'm not sure there is a specified dimension nowadays, I seem to remember a dimension of 300mm to allow gasses to be drawn away from the roof and not seep back in to the roof void.

Consider reducing the stack and fitting an air admittance valve in the roof void. There are requirements to be met if this is to be an option.

As per Woody, but seeing as it's only air, you can divert the stack within the roof space, to a more favourable position, i.e. through the wall etc.

What are the requirements if I fit an air admittance valve in the loft?
