Solid wall internal finish

Hi everyone,
Had a look at some of the other discussions but couldn’t really find the exact answer to my question. I am renovating my bathroom currently stripping back to brick. I want to know the best way to bring the walls back to a finish i can tile on (main concern is window wall). The house has a solid brick wall with no cavity. The wall with the window is the only external wall, the plaster on this wall was damp i am suspecting this was caused by old leaking gutters which i will replace. Please see attached photos. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you
