I think newgas is just an out and out nut. The fact that he's religious is a side issue. Why anyone would bother to argue with such a headcase is beyond me.

Considering the arab world gave us some great advances in science and mathematics amongst other things, it's quite ironic to note the that the muslims on this forum are amongst the most mentally challenged people on here.

I may have missed someone mentioning it, but I can't see anyone discussing speciation on this thread. This is where a new subspecies within a larger group begin to "break away". For example, in-breeding (through clear guidelines) of religious groups or racial castes leading to different genetic variations. These lead to different characteristics, physically, intellectually and emotionally; and an inherent degree of auto segregation.
For example, newgas has been created as a freak; an aberration of the human species. As such, this genetic line is unlikely to continue since it is non-viable. So it's not all bad

The Middle Eastern inhabitants were pretty smart, then they got Islam, and since then every islamic country has been stuck in the 13th century. Shame really.
Now now, let's not get mean. Although I butt heads with him over this subject, he does speak sense quite often on other subjects.
As I have mentioned, I feel sorry for anyone that doesn't understand Natural Selection and it's ramifications. It is normally because it has been taught to them that Natural Selection is nonsense. Like Newgas thinking that natural selection means that mutations turn up when needed. This is obviously barmy!
If however, right from the off he had been taught that mutations happen all the time and it is the circumstances and environment that weeds out the negative from the positive...hence natural selection, selection by natural means....he may now of been able to see through many other lies he has been told.

There are clearly too many people with "bought" scientific "qualifications" that are on the verge of complete mental and nervous breakdowns, who have signed onto some nutty "religion", and who will not doubt end up topping themselves and possibly a few innocent bystanders.
By so doing, they will terminate the opportunity for them to procreate further and once again demonstrate the termination of non-viable genetic lineage; quite in accordance with darwinism.
