Fisherman from Grimsby have realised since we are no longer in the EU, they have lost the ability to do "quota swaps".....and they won't be able to land the volume of catches in the species they sell.

What you call 'trade barriers' is just extra paperwork which will become the new norm.

They are called non tariff barriers and are process issues and in many cases legal requirements.

Becoming Gas Safe is just paperwork...

As a Brexxer you should roll your sleeves up and provide your services to these companies just dealing with "paperwork".

Here's a few...

Rules of origin checks
Sanitary and phytosanitary controls
Loss of certification
Transit documents
Customs declarations
Replication of REACH
Loss of multiple cabotage

If it's just a bit of paperwork why have loads of companies moved from UK to be inside Single Market?
Why has Foreign Direct Investment dropped 19% since 2016?

UK business had a frictionless marketplace of 500million people
UK business now has a frictionless marketplace that is now smaller than the UK.

You might think it's normal. It isn't.

Brexit is unique, in starting with a deal that has a free market, and ending up with one that has barriers.

Every other country in the world has the sense to work on removing barriers.

Notch. Tell that to the truckers stuck on the motorway by there own Government. The French are as trustworthy & honest as....... you.

Ahh, bless. Blame the problems of Brexit on the French.

Typical populist ideology. Blame some imaginary external enemy for the problems created by yourselves.

A bit of a discrepancy in the figures reported. The government claim 90% of freight is moving without problem. The Freight Associations say there are problems with about 20% of freight. Someone is telling porkies.
The Department for Transport said at least 90% of lorries trying make the Dover-Calais ferry crossing or going through the Channel Tunnel had the correct paperwork, including proof of a negative test for coronavirus.

But on Thursday, the Road Haulage Association (RHA) told BBC News that about one in five trucks were being turned away.

And the ferry company DFDS tweeted on Friday: "We are experiencing a high volume of vehicles being refused and delayed at the Ports of Calais, Dunkerque and Dover, due to incorrect paperwork being presented at check-in."
