i just went out to the dustbin....and saw a light pass just after Arcturus and between 5 to 10 times brighter pass from west to east... and then die out suddenly in the eastern part of the sky !!

Wasn't the Kepler ATV due to burn up on re-entry last night and what's left of it crash into the Pacific ocean? I know it undocked from the ISS a few days ago. More here,.

Get in the real world moody, when you do you'll understand that the pacific is on the other side from where we are.

It was the ISS he saw. You can see it every night if you look in the right place......it passed the OP location minutes before he made the post and in the direction he stated.
he would have to have good eyesight and be on the other sode of the world to have seen the Keplar ATV

i think i'm agreed it was the ISS... but funnily enough, i just went out to lock the gate and saw it again... about a minute ago !!!! am i tuned in to it's orbit somehow?
