Hello all
I'm looking to put in a WC in a right-angled-triangule shaped section of an old house bordering onto the dining room / family room and hence would like to sound proof it (for the sake of the user and the listeners!) as best as I can. The long side (hypotnuse) is solid already, the shortest side will be all door and the last side is the one that will be a stud wall that needs building and insulating.
I imagine there is an issue that whatever I do to insulate the stud wall, the noise will still travel through the door too so any suggestions there too please?
I don't want to go over the top, but I also don't want to hear everything that goes on in there...
Thanks
