As my craft and design teacher always said, measure twice and cut once. Jokes aside, how the feck they could make an error like that goodness only knows.

Just like LS2 (Lower speed2)...

"Ministers are planning on cutting HS2 services and train speeds in an attempt to drive down the cost of the heavily delayed project, it has been reported.

The government is said to be considering cutting the number of trains from 18 to 10 an hour and reducing the trains’ maximum speeds."

Linky Linky

Trains that couldn't hit the claimed speeds, or tracks that couldn't handle that claimed speed?

So basically spending what will probably end up to be close to £100bn with no actual improvements...

As opposed to the Spanish error of less than £250m...

So do tell us...

Which is the biggest f*ck up?

It was never about "improvements" : it was a ruse to transfer taxpayers' bunce into the pockets of the anointed ones (y)

They probably do the same as we do: people in charge have never been in the real world and dismiss the knowledge that comes from experience by weaving a piece of paper saying that they are clever and qualified.

What a surprise that Ellal charged to the defence of Spain. He/she/they don’t like you finding fault with any country in it's blessed EU….
Why bother moaning about Spain when we have so many costly fudge-ups of our own - is more pertinent.

Who's moaning at Spain? We're all laughing at them!

Anyway, get yer brekkie down, grab your lift pass and get to those slopes. (y)
