on rcd protected side of split load board
do u have to note zs values on eic
because ordinarily if zs couldnt be met then circuit could be protected by rcd..

You are talking of using an RCD for protection against indirect contact. This is quite common in installations such as TT. RCDs are also required to provide supplementary protection against direct contact for sockets which may reasonably be expected to supply portable equipment outdoors. The measured value of Zs should be recorded for each circuit.
 
The RCD in a split load board is not there because the circuit Zs is too high.


Even if the Zs value for the MCB has been exceeded, and an RCD has been installed to compensate for this, you still need to record the reading.



If you were were working on a TT system would you just not bother recording any readings? :rolleyes:
