I have recently installed push-button (non-percussive) taps to the showers in my rugby club.
There are 9 shower heads, all with individual mixers, supplied via a 4 bar \\\"monsoon\\\" pump, a thermostatic valve, and a very large (110 gall??) hot water tank.
Thing is, since fitting these push-buttons the players complain that the water runs cold for a while after pressing the button to resume their shower.
I have fitted non return valves to the hot supply, at the shower mixers, to suppress the cold water supply getting into the hot water, but to no avail.
Any ideas what the problem is.
The showers were ok before I fitted the new valves.
