Is it ok to take a spur from the boiler electric switch for a socket in the kitchen for my electric kettle?

Thank you in advance for your advice and comments.

It comes from the fuse box with 2.5mm cable, has its own 16 amp MCB and there are no other items on the circuit.

if your going to take a socket from there then you have two things to bear in mind.

1: labeling, make sure its obvious from the fuse box that there is a socket on that circuit.
2: RCD protection, if the socket can "feasiblly supply equipment outside the equipotential zone" (yes i know thats vauge, its the cause of endless arguments among electriciant) then it needs to be RCD protected (either at the CU or using a RCD socket).
