Stacking kitchen base units

With rear panels in place the internal depth of DIYK cabinets is 510mm.

Not one of the integrated fridges which John Lewis sell (covering 7 "mainstream" makes like Zanussi, Beko, Samsung) needs less than 545mm.

But then I should have given this more thought...

a) seems reasonable that there should be free space for air to circulate.
b) seems unreasonable to think a kitchen company could get away with selling fridge/freezer cabinets in which no fridge/freezer would fit.
c) it may seem that other makers make deeper cupboards - Howdens for example are 575mm deep, but their service void is 72mm, so with the back panel in place the internal depth is less than 500mm.

My base units are all 570mm so tall unit would be same .
