Hello,
I recently was speaking with a police officer in Boston and he told me about Juststolen.net a free website that a cop started. I looked at it and it looks like a great idea. I saw an article in the Boston Metro on 2/23 and saw Channel 7 news run a short story on it. Have a look, hats off to that police officer.

there's a similar scheme that's been running for years for the Television and Broadcasting industry for stolen equipment on the Broadcasting union's website (BECTU)

That's an awful site, I had a look hoping to buy some dodgy gear for cash but they don't even show you what's been nicked!
