Structural steel work gone wrong

reading the plans is a no brianer why not install a longer rsj lintel at the bottom with concrete pad stones an drop the steel on to it or raise the bottom lintel then build a bulk head?
dont know why they asked for pad stone inbertween the beams has he used slate to pack out under on over the beams? with a mortar mix?

on over lapping steels like this we are asked to bolt in a leg some times so the two beams meet an stay true.

why the big worry an changing locks ect just talk to the guy an the S.E stop works an sort out a meeting so you all can voice your minds???

Sorry just looked at the pics agen the corner that the two lintels meet an sit on are on pads same as the other ends BUT where is the pads in the pics.
seems like the so called builder is a numpty as for using them crap box beams as needles your ment to use small RSJs as needles an have props under the beams..
