Hi guys,
I'm new here and looking for a answer to this strange issue that I can't seem to solve! I'm currently in the process of building a motorhome on the back of a truck and back in November I fibreglassed the roof. It wasn't without it's difficulties, but it went ok and all cured with no issues, although the topcoat isn't the best!!. Anyway, now, 5 months on, when I'm inside, I can still smell styrene; it's not super strong, but you can definitely smell it. It seems to linger up high and the smell is most detectable in the top third of the inside space. I've yet to put up the internal ceiling, but before I do this, I really want to get rid of this smell somehow. It seems to be coming from areas where screws are poking through the plywood (from where I over-boarded with OSB and screwed it down). Any idea why I can still smell the styrene and what I can do to remedy it?! How long will it take to go??!
Thanks in advance!
