This is the same India that raided the BBC Offices in India because they broadcasted a documentary critical of Modi.

I work with many Indian consultants (pathologists) and whenever our shared history has come up, most of them are overly appreciative of our impact on their now-united nation -- one even said we'd left too early! Nobody has ever mentioned this.

I think they probably should go back, seeing as we have no governance or rule over India and if we (hopefully) become a republic then they should definitely be returned. It's not going to reduce our standing and influence in the world.

Hypocritical, given that you live in a country where protesters against the unelected king were wrongfully arrested and held captive for the duration of his coronation ceremony.

We no longer have any right to preach about other countries that are also dictatorships.
 
India has now a bigger economy than the UK and its population will soon be larger than China.
The former colonies have grown up and are now starting to throw their weight around.
Time for more strategic thinking by the UK.

India one of the most if not the most racist (?) country in the world
