Suspicious threads

So the 'What kind of car do you currently drive' thread, along with others asking similar questions about other aspects of our lives, has apparently been deleted.

I thought they were a bit suspicious. I can't help but wonder, though, what this person was hoping to achieve.

I dunno mate, but I'm like you I assumed it was fishy. Particularly after seeing the other threads by them.
You don't turn up at a strange pub, and walk round asking people what car they drive, what do they do with this ,that and the other.
So either a spammer, or something? It all had that "feel"
There are various sites on the web that have lists of forum spammers with IP addresses.
