Another result of tory cuts.
Although people could still access STI testing, there was a 25% fall in sexual health screens (tests for chlamydia, gonorrhoea, syphilis or HIV) and the change in service delivery impacted the diagnoses of STIs in different ways. For example, STIs that require a clinical in-person assessment, such as genital warts and herpes saw a greater drop in diagnoses (46% and 40% falls, respectively),

If you cut services, the service users suffer, and there are repercussions throughout society.
Moreover, if there is inherent discrimination towards the gay community, it reduces the willingness to seek advice or treatment.
This also has repercussions throughout society and the demands on the medical provision.

I didn't think God watched o'er the Dark Dork Tower?
Dork Hall has 3x Gods in residence, the God of Sex, the God of Drugs & the God of Rock n Roll, but there are many Gods who are made welcome when they visit. Bacchus is a frequent visitor & Shiva is very popular at the parties. Odin is a but of a grumpy b'st@rd but Buddha is firm favourite with the kids.

All thr forigners being let in same with the rise in tb
Stupid boy!
It's caused by a mulitplicity of reasons, but migration is not one of them.
"The consensus in the public health community is that the rise in STIs including syphilis is likely related to a disruption of STI prevention resources during the pandemic," says Sundaram.
