Taking down a false ceiling

Any thoughts/ advice of how to safely remove - do t thing this is asebestos , think is plaster on plaster board
Believe this false ceiling was put in to save money on heating and to cover a poor lath and plaster ceiling
Want to restore old coving and ceining !

Lath and plaster.
Running coving I guess. It's moulded by using a template and dragging along. Called running cornice. Unlikely to be any asbestos. I've taken loads down.
I have seen cornice left up as by cutting along on ceiling. You can also repair it by making a template.

Proper eye protection and respirator when you remove ceiling..
You will need a skip.
If you can get above kick it down.
If not bash from below.
