I have a tap at back of my house that is in between space of my extension and neighbours extension. It’s attached to neighbours house. The tap was installed 18years ago. I have neighbours who moved in 4 years ago and now as having dispute with them them have asked for tap to be removed from touching their wall. In fact he’s demanded that if I don’t remove in 7 days he will come into my garden and remove himself. What should I do with regards moving the tap. It would have to be moved from inside the house as there’s no room between the 2 ex

Move it. Set on a wooden stand.

If it's connected to your water, does he intend to shut off your water in the road to remove the tap?

And how can he get in your garden?

I'd be tempted to call his bluff and do nothing for 7 days

Here’s tap in question
Is that your kitchen on the left - can you just run another cold feed out and put in a new tap.

The existing tap isn't screwed on anyway, it looks like it's just connected to the pipe which is clipped to the neighbours wall

Yeah ongoing dispute result of when they had loft conversion done. Loads of things went wrong flooded our kitchen, blow electrics came through into our side of house. The problem was I complained and that upset them. They never apologised and just not good. They had security camera looking into our house and I asked for it to be moved for privacy reasons. They asked for electric cable to be removed from fence as a response which I did. Now asking for this tap to be removed or else he will remove tap himself.
