Need to stick some "Polysafe" heavy duty non-slip vinyl floor covering down to a plywood base, but I need to do it in such a way that it can be removed if necessary to gain access to services under the floor below so I don't want to glue it. Some carpet tapes aren't suitable for vinyl, so can anyone recommend a product that might work?

Thanks.

Thanks for your reply - I had a look at the F46 spec and it didn't seem to indicate it would be easy to remove the flooring, so I checked F Ball's recommended adhesives guide and they list Polysafe Standard in there which is what this flooring is, and in the permanent column, you can see it says F44, F47, F49 and there is no option in the release column. F46 is listed in the permanent column for some of their other flooring.

The only one that seems to crop up in the release column in their guide is F41 described as a Carpet Tile Tackifier, but also saying it will stick carpet tiles with "PVC and other polymer backings" so it's feasible that might work.

Can I just check you did mean F46 and not F41?

Ta.

I did mean f46 mate.
Maybe use polysafe quicklay or Altro expresslay
Unfortunately, the services issue was well hidden and only became apparent after I'd already picked up a Polysafe Standard remnant and chopped it roughly to size - s*ds law. I didn't even know they did a none adhesive version, but I do now so thanks for highlighting it.

You suggested F46 so is there something about the composition of that one that makes it potentially possible to remove the flooring even if they don't make that claim?

If you let it tack off dry it will release. Done it a few times. Can you make a hatch.

OP,
My two pee is that any Flooring Suppliers double sided tape will work for perimeter fixing sheet material.
