Teachers aren't generally in a high risk category for covid deaths but it appears that male teachers are double the risk compared to female teachers. I can't see it happening but logically, working on the basis of highest risk first, this means that male teachers should really be vaccinated first.
Teachers getting the vaccine....more important workers than them should get it first.
