Maggie beat the Unions and the country has been a better place ever since.

She fu**ed the country. Took away it's heart. She also closed down more hospitals than any other government at any time in recorded history. She shut down 55000 psychiatric beds. She turned the country into a money grabbing s** you jack attitude. Apart frrom that I have heard it said her son loves her. So thats "one". Just in case you thought that it was a typographical mistake 55000 beds.

There you go Willy .. corrections carried out.

Unions did more good for this country than Thatcher ever did.

I know what unions did for the working class,
and I know what Thatcher did for the working class and for Scotland.

I'll say it again the unions did more for the woking class than Thatcher.

Do you remember what unions did for the working class?

Scott.

Good grief!

Will you two go and carry out your pro-Thatcher:Anti Thatcher argument behind the bike sheds? You're not going to change each other's minds, you're not going to change anyone else's mind.

The dreadful woman is gone now, discarded by her own party when they realised the rest of the country was fed up with her.

Let's hear no more until the funeral. I have her headstone ready.

I'm actually more interested in what unions did for the work class,
Sorry I have no interest in Thatcher either.

Anyway what has it got to do with you?

Scott

The unions got too big for their boots and were put in their place by the workers themselves. I remember Vauxhall came to a standstill because a security guard was catching too many workers stealing. The security guard in question had to be moved to another gate before the union would let their men return to work Then the case of Ford . They were going to open a new factory employing hundreds if not thousands but they insisted on a single union for all employees. The unions could not agree to this so Ford moved the plan abroad. The unions then HIRED A JET to fly to ford's office abroad and said ,on reflection we have decided to have just one union. Ford said on reflection you can FU** off and built the factory abroad. So the unions began to think with their brains instead of their muscle and it came to pass that now, things generally flow along nicely with the unions acting with common sense. I'm not against unions but they did go to far with their demands. I am glad we have the modern unions. They protect against the excesses of unscrupulous employers.

What would heath and safety be like on building sites if there was never Unions?

Absolutely and the assistance of the H S E. What I was referring to was the old unions. Now with the H S E and union collaboration we have much safer construction and allied sites. In the old days if a sparks saw a chippy putting a light bulb in. ALL OUT.

BE HAPPY
