Temporary protection for flat roof?

I taped up the Visqueen in the dark, that was probably louder than screwing the boards down this morning.

He didn't turn up, he decided it was too big of a job for him :LOL:

I've got another guy quoting now so fingers crossed.

The visqueen lasted until last night, this morning there was a wet patch in the room below. I went up but couldn't see any obvious holes so I lifted the Visqueen to reveal a small wet patch.

I thought it best to swap it for the pond liner once it had dried. I (my missus really) took off the first 4 rows of tiles, put the pond liner under the old felt then fitted some new lats and then put the tiles back on. Fingers crossed it last till the guy does the job.

What a sod! So you’ve had the temporary roof for a month and just the 1 leak? Not too bad. Fingers crossed the next chap is true to his word.

In my day job we spent 11 million quid on a build and it leaked like a sieve
