Not sure what the recent requirements are for repatriating Jews to Israel is but 'white supremacy' as you term it has never been a factor.

The Red Sea Diving Resort is an excellent film.

A fictional film is not an explanation for the criteria of pure Jewish ancestry.
Even if you do like to conflate fact with fiction.

repatriating Jews

A very strange use of the word "repatriating"

If a New York Zionist was born in New York, of New York parents, brought up in New York, educated, worked and married in New York, in what way is he being "repatriated" if he travels to Palestine?

LOL, it's a film based on 'operation Joshua' and 'operation Moses' seeing the evacuation of Ethiopian Jews (black people) to Israel. At the very least 10,000 black people were repatriated to Israel.

Of course, that doesn't fit comfortably with your narrative of the Israeli population consisting of white Americans.

Your exceeding your own reputation for 'spouting boll@x' tonight Roy. Crack on mate, I love it.

I would say no more strange than using the word Palestine.

Had they lived there before?

Perhaps there forbears had John, I haven't personally researched their family trees, in the meantime, you might do the same for everyone claiming to be a Palestinian.

LIke Braveheart is a fim based on Scotland-England wars?
Or the Sharpe books based on the Iberian peninsula wars?
The critics thought it was crap:
"The Red Sea Diving Resort makes uninspired use of actual events, using thinly written characters to tell a story derailed by its own good intentions.
based on reviews from eight critics, indicating "generally unfavorable reviews"

At the very least 10,000 black people were repatriated to Israel.
8,500 were migrated to Israel. They had previously been living in Ethopia, not Israel.
Their ethnicity was evidently Jewish. There is no suggestion they were black. Do you hav eany evidence that they were, other than they previously lived in Ethopia? If they werfe being repatriated to Israel, that would suggest they previously lived there. How long ago was that?

Of course, that doesn't fit comfortably with your narrative of the Israeli population consisting of white Americans.
It wasn't my narrative. it was John's. My 'narrative' was: why is the Jewish lineage criteria so important, if not due to some form of 'white supremacy'?
Can you explain it without recourse to some fictional works?

Your exceeding your own reputation for 'spouting boll@x' tonight Roy. Crack on mate, I love it.
Your way of saying I'm asking difficult questions which you're having trouble answering?

Why do the Jews need this blood relationship type test?
What would it matter if people wanted to marry a non-Jew?
Why is the blood relationship limited to the female lineage?
Or why is it so important that only certain Jews get the right to immigrate to Israel?
Why is there a secret group of religious leaders that decide your application to be a Jew? ¹

Can be the only explanation I can see.
If anyone has an alternative explanation, I'd like to hear it.

I can't explain it Roy I know my Very blond Israeli/American cousin married a very Italian looking Italian American Catholic.

And when I was in New Jersey sitting at the table with my Jewish family and their freinds who I wouldn't strictly describe as white. Or even that they were all Jewish.

At one meal with my cousins American / Indian Muslim girlfriend.
My uncle & Auntie had no problem with a Muslim at their table, but her parents could never know about my Jewish cousin.

But in answer to your question, I don't know. All Religion can be fckked.

But I have never known a nation so mixed of different nationalities and countries bond together as one, as much as Israel.

Isn't it a great film.

These mainly white men risked their life's rescuing Brown African people from Africa and taking them to Israel.

I also see plenty in Eritreans out in Israel, and a few Somalians (John dont like Somalians)
that I was not sure where Jewish or not.

Charles Bronson wasn't in the film.

It's based on a true story Roy.

I think your getting confused with the last King of Scotland and Uganda Roy.

Apart from the obvious 'name dropping' (to coin a phrase), my issue is with the criteria for the Jewish lineage. Why is it so important?
I can only see it's based on some notion of supremacy.
You will, I hope, see that I amended my use of the phrase 'white supremacy'. I was only using that phrase because it has alreqdy been adopted, and we're all familir with it and it's connotations.
But the notion of supremacy is the only feasible reason I can see for the strict criteria of female lineage to be accpeted as a Jew.
Something which you did not attempt to address. Your post was merely a "don't know" with a lot of name dropping.
I have to admit to being amazed by your knowledge of your realtives and friends ethnicity, lineage, etc. It must be important for you to make so many enquiries.

I think your experience of Israel is very myopic. Apart from rare examples, Israelis, and Jews do not mix with Palestinians, in general. When they do they tend to both be on the left of politics. Or they only co-exist for work, etc, This obviously creates a myopic world view for each party, because they only hear similar arguments to their own, voiced in social circles. (a bit like your newsfeeds problem).
Today the hospital is a rare island of calm where Jews, Israeli Arabs and some Palestinian staff work together to treat patients.
Outside, there is a sea of distrust and growing violence between Israelis and Palestinians,

The same situation existed in South Africa during Apartheid, and in Southern states of USA, during segregation and especially during the Jim Crow era.
Like In India with the caste system, the castes move in different social circles, and only co-exist when necessary.
One could say that a similar scenario exists in UK, but without the rigid cultural constraints, with the rich and poor rarely interacting, except on a work or employer-employee realtionship, etc.
