Palestine does not have, and has never had, an army, a navy or an air force.
This is why Israel was able so easily to invade and occupy the country, evict the citizens, and steal the land. In 1948 it even had a few British tanks (stolen from the British Army) and a good number of experienced soldiers and officers who had previously served in European armies.
Unsurprisingly, a bunch of amateurs is sure to be defeated, as we saw in the comparable Warsaw rising.

You make it sound like Israel only picked on them because they were small. If Syria Egypt & Jordan come to their rescue , do you think they would last longer than six days ?
