Tesla sales crash

Tesla should be a buy. He's announced the addition of AI to X.
I wouldn't buy off the open - wait for the peak then short to VWAP (an indicator) if it drops

They have some problems to fix. Nothing to do with Elon musks short term image issues.

1. The market cap is innovation heavy and that isn’t backed up.
2. They don’t have enough models
3. They should consider partnerships (e.g. Tesla powered…).

They need to recognise that the Frankfurt giga factory was a mistake and look at lower cost EU locations.

The business plan of selling Audi A4 priced vehicles in Vauxhall Corsa volumes has always been a bit iffy as well. Even more now BYD and others are moving in on the cheaper end.

Musks refusal to move to a lower price point, because self driving will render it pointless, is starting to get a bit ridiculous after a nearly a decade of failed promises.

£300 a month is pretty, cheap. But yes they have been talking about a model Z/2 and a hatchback for ages.

A friend of mine just cancelled his roadster pre-order and went for a taycan turbo s. Fed up waiting.

I never understood why people buy over priced VWs Audis.

On the subject of jags. Used prices have plummeted based on the new marketing. They might have wanted to create a new brand rather than trash the old one.

I honestly can't see what is not to like for that money. You go to the website and they have basically end of life'd their entire range. Its like they went broke.

Looking on their approved used website, the above example I linked to is not amazing value.

I do like the iPace, the brand's well earnt reputation for quality and reliability are my main sticking points. If it had a Skoda, Toyota or VW badge I'd be all over it.

Looking at the mileage, I think it would have struggled to have reached it without being reliable: it would have been off the road for too long.

He has damaged the brand and that’s going to have a long term impact.

Tesla shares are vastly over valued, 12% of the market yet capitalisation is more than the next 29 companies combined.

Companies that dominate the early stages of a tech revolution often end up dwindling. Nokia being an example.
