Gas pipe doesnt run under where the rod is, and I get a better reading off the water pipe.. Ill disconnect the main earth LOL.. sorry the 4mm cable from the water pipe and see what reading I get..
I thought the meter measured the impediance between the phase / neutral and the item under test (its a fluke loop tester, but an old one.. Keep meaning to buy a new multifunction tester, like the ROBIN as this thing is usless with RCD's) and too old
30ma RCD is what will be used for the moment, im not paying silly money for a 100ma time delayed for a temporary installation, All thats running at the moment is a 5KVA 110v transformer, so nuisance tripping isnt so much of an issue.. The lack of floor when it does trip may be!!!
