Texecom alarm won’t sound when armed

So the PIRs are currently wired with 6 cores. With Green, White, Blue, Yellow being wired into A, B, C and D respectively.

The zones are currently wired as normally closed as I was getting a tamper fault on EOL with the above set up.

At the panel, green and white going to the zones, with blue and yellow into aux/fault. See panel pic below

Okay.

so the take out b and c wires, make sure those two cores are wired in to the zone

your current issue is you have wired your detector double pole, but the resistor slider is on the Texecom values of 2k2 and 4k7.

because your panel only has two zone terminals per zone, its best to use eol wiring to get full functionality from the detector being used ie report alarm and tamper for the zone.

if you set the resistor values to 0 on the slider, then you can use wiring type normally closed for wires A and B, and connect Cand D to the global tamper circuit.

That would mean you dont get the tamper notification for the zone in question, which is a bit of a waste as panel and detector capable of zone reporting using eol, also means you have two spare cores.

Thanks all

Temporarily turned the resistors off to get working and will rewire over the weekend
