Can anyone tell if there Texecom connect app is a little behind, i disarmed my garage (at the keypad) today and it notified me on my phone 1 1/2 hrs later.. im pretty sure it tells me when i unlock my phone..
anyone else get this delay.

Just to add it does seem to notify me when i unlock my phone and not when the event actually happens.

Check your phone power management settings for the Texecom app. Quite a common issue on Android based phones, especially with Texecom Connect V2 (I've switched back to V1 on my own phone for this very reason)
 
its a nightmare it gets sorted then android do an update and........

needs a better solution long term.
 
It's odd, as Google's Firebase FCM implementation is very stable. The app developers must not have implemented their app lifecycle correctly.

At least its a known issue then and I'm not the only one, Tbh i don't now really see much point in the app other than for notifications.. remote arming and disarming isnt what i would use the app for much.
i have swapped my power settings now. it seemed more responsive when i armed ,disarmed and connected via wintex, and then it let me down after i armed the garage for the night. i was notified an hour later
