Greetings,
Firstly, thanks for a great source of info and help. I was particularly helped by a previous post regarding the Texecom Premier 24 install and successfully avoided any problems putting the same system fully loaded with sensors and smokes into my previous house.
Next project is a complete restoration and conversion of an older property. I'd like to protect this right from the start, but have some concerns regarding the amount of dust and disruption there'll be during the works.
I know it would be a complete bodge and offer only a visual deterrent at first, but I'd like to explore an idea here please. Can I throw up a spare Odyssey 2 I have, connect it to a 12v DC supply so it looks live, then at a later date connect the CP and sensors etc?
If so, Do I need to link, loop, or modify anything along the way so it looks live, e.g. not in hold off mode? Should I consider disabling the sounders? ..and How?
Thanks in advance
Dave
