So, in the process of replacing old Gardiner 580 due to a new extension and took Sparkymarka’s advice and bought a Premier Elite 24 control panel.
Existing system all wired with cables marked as to which zones they serve so should be easy to connect. Need some guidance on additional texecom bits please ….Not connecting to phone at this point.

Need Bell
Door Contacts for sliding patio door ( I installed cables ready)
Something to protect garage….pir or just something on up and over door- advice welcome
A couple of new Pir s for 1 for kitchen ( Dualtech)

Surface mounted Texecom panel in hall replacing old Gardner one…..

Given the cost of pir’s - would I save myself grief by replacing the 3 existing ones rather than trying to re use……

Tips welcome

How many zones in total?

Sensor wise lots of choice so depends on preferences and how your fitting them.

Hard wired Contacts for example have Magnet on the moving component usually and the sensor fixed.

Dual tech is pir usually used in garages and conservatories.

Thanks for reply~ 6 zones with Pir s and one with patio door contacts , 2 sliding patio doors are next to each other so wiring them together on the same zone…..

Was going for Oddysey 3 bell ?

You would be better not wiring on same zone, you have 8 zones available on the 24 use them.

ody 3 bell should make wiring easier for you
