While traveling to Houston for a conference, the researcher was subjected to an invasive search and accused of ‘terrorism’ for expressing a ‘personal opinion on the Trump administration’s research policy.’
The Department of Homeland security, Tricia McLaughlin denies it saying he had “confidential information on his electronic device from Los Alamos National Laboratory — in violation of a non-disclosure agreement — something he admitted to taking without permission and attempted to conceal,”
My question would be how did he take it without permission? Bear in mind he was entering US not leaving.
Tricia McLaughlin is a Trump appointee so can’t be trusted as a source.
