Those who believe these things need not reply, we have done to death all the arguments. Only "awake" people are invited to answer the question - When will the tide turn?
By 'awake' you mean those that share your view on these matters, so not exactly what forums are about i.e. encouraging discussion and debate on various subjects. What you're seeking is an echo chamber or whatever the saying is.
In some shape or form, covid happened. I'm not getting into forum ping pong re its origins, if governments and health authorities around the world handled it correctly and so on, but it happened.
As for EVs, I myself remain to be convinced they're 'the future' even though I agree that's the narrative being rammed down our throats these days. I suppose the assertion can be made, better to have 1000 EVs trundling around a town as opposed to 1000 ICE vehicles, although again I get the fact the jury is still out re how 'green' are they in their entirety. In terms of the immediate local impact however, I suspect a road of houses and/or shops would rather have EVs trundling backwards and forwards than ICE vehicles.
Trump is a tier 1 tw a t who directly or though his machine spreads misinformation left right and centre. When he was president, it got to the boring stage hearing him class literally everything as 'fake news' if it wasn't pro Trump news. His lack of telling his followers to back down during the Capitol Hill riots summed him as an individual up. Yes most top politicians are odious to some degree, however he takes it to a whole new level.
Are some of the things we're starting to see play out here in the UK and abroad part of a secret grand plan to gain further control of the population? Who the feck knows. What I do know is I'll be outta here ~30 years from now if I'm lucky, so hopefully any great reset, if it is to happen, won't be that much underway by then.
Not sure if this falls into conspiracy theory or not, however I reckon one if thee greatest threats to humankind in decades to come might just be AI. Again however, I'll hopefully be gone by the time the machines take over ...
