i think its good value if it aids the poorer off and helps reduce the risks off unrest and possible war within the eu
the cost is about 55 million a day we get back roughly half so about 40-45p a day for every man woman and child in the uk
hardly a life changing amount to contribute towards the worse off

I don't know if you have noticed but Europe is on the verge of civil war with the rise of the far right, vigilantes on the streets and NPPs raping at will so If we'd have kept out ten bob bits in our pockets then Frau Merkel wouldn't have invited Africa to come an live in Europe

That 40 - 45p per per person, per day would be better spent on things like improving schools and hospitals, repairing Britain's crumbling roads, repairing the country's crumbling water distribution systems, providing improved pensions to people who have worked all their lives and paid into the system, funding medical research, or even just reducing the existing extortionate levels of tax. Shall we go on?

P.S. Remember that the EU can't even balance its books.

"That 40 - 45p per per person, per day would be..."

used by the Tory government to cut taxes for the rich, or baling out big business.

You know they wouldn't be spending it on health or education or infrastructure. And they couldn't spend it all on increasing MPs pay and expenses. Could they?

Well, that's a different problem which needs sorting out at home. The same could be said for any money they save by cutting expenditure in some way.

Do you have proof to back that up or is it just your ignorant opinion?

Perhaps they could spend all that cash on cool weapons to irritate the likes of Corbyn?

and perhaps it would be far worse without everyone round the table in dialogue

But they are not round the table... Countries are acting unilaterally, Greece is a basket case, Italy, Spain, Portugal and Ireland are broke and racial tension is spilling out onto the streets.. Calais has been abandoned by the EU

Or even irradiate the likes of Corbyn..

I haven't bothered to edit the quotes in my usual fashion 'cos I've just got home after a wonderful night out with friends, yes we discussed the referendum, in sometimes a heated debate, and we remain firm friends (perhaps because we didn't resort to insults to affirm our points)
I've include the quotes that are included to illustrate the vitriolic diatribe demonstrated by the "leave" campaigners.
Perhaps in future, though I doubt it, we could conduct ourselves with a degree of probity.
