It's a 'no sh*t sherlock' moment...

"Rachel Reeves will become the first UK chancellor to attend a meeting of EU finance ministers since the UK left the EU. The Labour government is using it to clearly signal their commitment to reset the relationship with the EU and realise the economic potential of our shared future"

"In her speech, the chancellor will set out that part of the government’s mission to drive economic growth and make working people better off, a central part of the “Plan for Change”, will be achieved through a closer relationship with the EU"

Common sense of course, and what with the changing electoral demographics in the UK it's only a matter of time...

The tide is turning :)

Is there a term where we can just sell them stuff and they can sell us stuff without anything else chucked into the mix? I mean, does the EU trade with other nations on the understanding that EU residents are allowed to travel to that country, live there, work there or stay there without visa's as long as they like and have access to their education, health, housing and benefits systems?

No.

Not unless you join the club, no.

If Reeve's mission is to drive economic growth, what on earth is she up to with her current strategy?

Stay out the EU

Corruption is rife

Plus let’s face it they are all foreigners the cause of most of the issues affecting the uK :ROFLMAO:

Germans have issues

French have issues

With political extremist factions

Let’s face it the UK is one of the few sustained democracies in Europe

Plenty of the other fruit cakes were either dictatorships under some fascist fruit cake
Or linked to the commies in Russia

Yes exactly ;)

They have been doing a dirty on the UK for decades dumping there s***e boilers here :giggle:

The EU were apparently on the brink of doing that for decades. We never actually got any where near being bled dry until the Tories got in and we'd left the EU.

Funny that.
But blame the EU not the Tories. It's easier

Why do you think none of that applies to the UK?

Have you looked around lately ?
