The first step...

Great. Nothing else needed then. Makes you wonder what we were in the EU for in the first place.

If you have to wonder, then you probably didn't understand it. But felt able to vote on it.

I have to wonder why people thought that was sensible

Is there a term where we can just sell them stuff and they can sell us stuff without anything else chucked into the mix? I mean, does the EU trade with other nations on the understanding that EU residents are allowed to travel to that country, live there, work there or stay there without visa's as long as they like and have access to their education, health, housing and benefits systems?
Quite possibly, but if we need workers why not include it in the mix, with restrictions.

We can do that separately. No need to bundle it in. Each case on its merit whether it’s a doctor or a fruit picker. We choose as and when we need them and same goes for U.K. workers going to the EU.

Because of those we got when we left

Can anybody detail them though ?
After all these years we are still waiting to hear of a single 'benefit' of brexit from any brexiteer...

Surely it can't be that hard?

Care to tell us of the immigration figures before and after brexit?

And where the immigrants are now coming from?

And how are you going to tell your children/grand children they have no right to travel/work in the EU without any restrictions?

No different from the rest of the world and why should it be? I’ll tell them it’s no different from when I went to work in South Africa. They needed me, I was qualified, I fancied going there so I was allowed to work there. I see nothing wrong with that. If they have a skill or qualification that is needed and they actually want to go to a particular country, they can go. If they aren't suitably skilled or wanted, they can’t. Simple. Should apply to those wanting to come to the U.K. too. What would you have, any old useless career 'student' that’s not done a proper days work in their life that fancies an extended stay in another country they weren't born in, the right to just pitch up where they are not needed? Nah!

You've seen the immigration figures then

You really are a sad old embittered person!

Denying your offspring the benefits you enjoyed when in the EU...

Mind you at least you can tell them that it is their obligation to go pick UK veg or to do social care, right?

And where is your comment on the immigration figures post brexit?

Oh look, a "ground-breaking" new agreement to help tackle the people smugglers...

"Germany has said it will tighten its law to make it easier to prosecute those helping to smuggle migrants to the UK, as part of a new plan agreed between the two countries.

Currently facilitating people-smuggling is not technically illegal in Germany if it is to a third country outside the EU - which, following Brexit, includes the UK"

So not that "ground-breaking" after all, as it merely gets back a deal that there was before...

Those who said brexit would 'bring back control of our borders' should be singing from the rafters about this...

So how many more countries to get a similar individual deal with in Europe are there left?

If they want to do that, they will have to do it on their own merit. Go to a country where they are wanted and needed, like I did, and not because of any agreement 'rights'.

Am I? We can all see what you are embittered about - not being accepted in your 'partners' country and being stuck here with people you feel are beneath you and a parent you hate. What on Earth do you think I have to be bitter about?

Says the care home worker! :ROFLMAO:
