There appears to be a heavily macho culture, when we were cruising through Russian waterways, there were many fishing/hunting camps on the banks, usually populated by bare chested blokes wearing camouflage trousers (sound familiar)
There a popular viewpoint in Moscow where wedding parties go for photos, also popular with bikers who make a big show of revving engines, before departing into the nearby traffic jam and sitting there looking a tad stupid
