You did not say it was OK to push in a crowd of your own violation, the best you could weasel word your way to say was that it's OK to push if the crowd behind you are.

CTRL_V, You simply can't deny that no-one in the crowd pushed, because to do so would be absurd in the extreme.

Saying "the powers that be" don't blame them is an entirely different thing.
