The women’s World Cup final 2023

It's like racists might adopt animal cruelty as a weapon to complain about foreigners. Or

We have had 3 dogs in our family, all rescued needing homes for life. Daisy is Welsh, Cooper is Romanian and Lilly was Australian. When I see a dog I don't see race/nationality. Just a dog that needs a home.

In fairness to the thread I've copied my comment and gant's to the other thread.
I don't want to derail the main issue in this thread. So if anyone wants to continue this aspect of the discussion, can I respectfully ask that you make your comments in the other thread - Transexuality.
Of course, you are welcome to continue that aspect in this thread if you wish.
Well done Roy. You've taken one for the team

The president of the Spanish football federation, Luis Rubiales, has come in for criticism after he kissed forward Jenni Hermoso on the lips following Spain’s 1-0 victory over England in the World Cup final in Sydney on Sunday night.
Hermoso said on a live stream afterwards she “did not enjoy that”. In comments later provided to media she appeared to clarify her position, saying it was a “natural gesture of affection”.

No cheating. Its when football was football and men where men.
Aye, a good old fashioned 'reducer' early doors was fair play back then. I can imagine the on pitch riot and back page headlines today though.

...or a thug.
Have a look at the Intercontinental Cup match United played against Estudiantes. F. me, it's even worse. Estudiantes basically kicked their way to consecutive championships. I have no love for the modern game but it's better to see skilful players given the freedom to express themselves without some hairy arsed git with a hangover kicking them all over the pitch.
