Certainly looks like specialist parts Jon.
When I told the little woman that I was getting a replacement part she was none too pleased especially when a company had phoned to say that they could install a new boiler on Monday. Its cold up here!! There was no guarantee that a new thermocouple would work. The Glow Worm has given me 32 years of uninterrupted service which I do not expect anything like from a modern boiler.
My thanks to Jon for his help and kind offer, just sorry for wasting his time.
Jings, I've just noticed that the ashtray is full in my Ferrari .

What are they offering to fit, just out of interest?
Do me a favour to satisfy curiosity could you take the bottom tray off and take a photo of the right hand side of boiler controls . thanks
Fair enough. Long warranty, hopefully they've sorted the casting issues with the heat exchangers by nowWhen I told the little woman that I was getting a replacement part she was none too pleased especially when a company had phoned to say that they could install a new boiler on Monday. If you promise not to slag it off - Ideal Logic + 30kW

Why thank you kind sir!Good choice. Ideal are on the up and I believe that they have some outstanding Engineers in Scotland if you do have any issues. I have fitted quite a few and they have performed well.
Only just seen this thread - fairly certain I have one of those thermocouples in my stock pile. Will mark it as a rare part.
