This conspiracy has been going around social media....it comes from misinterpretation of The coronavirus and DNA profiles in the interests of National security Regulations 2020.

It has nothing to do with Covid testing at all.

The only people up to now who could use or take your dna was the police, if you’d committed a serious enough crime.
How easy it was for them to convince the likes of you to hand it over because you’ve got .....wait for it.............drum roll.......flu. crikey moses you couldn’t make it up like

your DNA profile is the most sensitive and personal data imaginable. But if you see no problem , crack on.

I walk out my front door and immediately I am captured on someone's neighbourhood watch CCTV.
Catching the bus my bus pass is recorded on the provider data base.
I walk through the shopping centre with multiple CCTV.
My shopping is recorded every time I use my credit/debit card.
My phone calls can be monitored.
The IP address of this forum is being stored somewhere.

The fact my DNA may be held somewhere is not an issue.

I am just one line of billions of recorded data held on a server somewhere.

I don't have anything to hide so the idea that someone somewhere is aiming to choose me, from the billions to choose from, does not keep me awake at night.

I just get on with my life and let others do the worrying for me.

This is what makes me chuckle whenever civil liberties are brought up, or conspiracy theories about them are stated, and when they are slated.


IMHO, very few people think that they won't be chipped / tracked / dna-profiled at some point in the future.
The arguments begin when the "conspiracy theorists" say "it's coming", and "the deniers" say "you're a sandwich short of a picnic".

In reality, the only thing in dispute is when it will happen, not if.
